he Canon EOS M6 is a compact mirrorless camera that features most of the technologies and features of a DSLR, but in much smaller and lighter body. Powering the EOS M6 is a DSLR-sized 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor which is paired with Canon’s intelligent DIGIC 7 image processor. Together these technologies provides the EOS M6 with fantastic image quality, impressive low light performance of up to ISO 25600, and advanced features such as Dual Pixel CMOS AF and 5-axis Digital Image Stabilization.
The Canon EOS M6 shares most of the same hardware and features as the M5, but comes at a much lower price. The biggest differences between the two is the lack of a built-in viewfinder on the M6, an optional electronic viewfinder is available; and on the M6 the rear LCD is slightly smaller at 3 inches, features a slightly lower resolution, and flips 180 degrees up, instead of 180 degrees down like on the M5.
The Canon EOS M6 Body is natively compatible with EF-M mount lenses, but can mount EF-S lenses with an optional adaptor. Canon's EF-M lens range covers a wide range of focal lengths and the lenses are much smaller and lighter than their DSLR equivalents.

Digital 5-axis video stabilisation
The Canon EOS M6's digital 5-axis video stabilisation feature compensates for any sudden or unwanted, yaw, roll, pitch, horizontal, or vertical movement for a smooth/sharp en result; this means that ist possible to shoot hand-held videos with smooth movement transitions. The feature works with both non-IS and IS Canon lenses, and will perform slightly better on IS lenses.
