By purchasing this ticket, you are confirming your submission to the 'Grammers' Exhibition that will take place from the 1st of Feb to the 25th of Feb, 2018. 

NB: This is a non-refundable fee, as once you purchase it we process your entry and print your images.

The concept

2018 is here and with it brings a new year and new opportunities. 2018 also marks 100 years since Nelson Mandela’s birth. Mandela helped pioneer our rainbow nation and bring communities together and we want to contribute towards that by highlighting the impact Instagram has had on the photographic community in South Africa.

2017 saw MILLENNIALS tackling the stigma that surrounds photographers on Instagram and whether or not their work could be considered ‘Art’. This year we want to highlight the role that Instagram has played in helping to build a thriving, active, close knit community of photographers in South Africa.

In the spirit of Mandela we would like to expand on that by announcing our next open entry exhibition; ‘GRAMMERS, where we are aiming to get 100 photographers from the Instagram community each showcasing two of their best photographs taken in South Africa.

We are looking for images from all genres of photography from photographers of any generation on Instagram. From street to portraiture to landscapes to conceptual photography. If your images were taken in South Africa we want to see them!

Entry Requirements

Number of images: 2 images may be submitted per person.
Dimensions of images: images will be printed 30cm x 30cm. Please ensure you resize them to that dimension at 300ppi resolution minimum.

If you submit more than two images we will simply select the first two images.


Entry fee: R200 (this is only payable if you are selected and will need to be paid before collecting your prints)
But: these prints becomes yours at the end, if unsold. (Please see 'Sales' Section for more info)


As with other mediums of art exhibitions and to keep things simple, all images will be for sale at a fixed price.

- The unmounted prints will also be for sale at R120 each. Of which we will take 40% and the rest goes to you (60/40 split).
- If people would like to purchase further prints above and beyond the 2 pre-printed ones, we will have them made up, ready for collection after the exhibition along with all the other prints.
- If some or all of the prints aren't sold by the end of the exhibition they are yours to take home at no additional cost.
- We will pay out all sales money owed to you once the exhibition closes.

T's & C's

- By filling out this entry form, that does not mean you have a guaranteed place in the exhibition. There is a panel process where we screen every entry.
- If you are selected, you will be contacted via email where you will need to send us your photos so that we can have them printed and ready for the exhibition. The deadline for image submission is the 15th of January. If you haven't submitted your images by then we reserve the right to pass your spot on to someone else.
- As we have limited storage space, we will only be able to keep the unsold images for 30 days after the close of the exhibition. After that, if they are not collected we cannot guarantee that they will still be available any more as we may need to throw them out to make storage space for the next exhibition. If you would like us to ship them to you, we can do so at an additional cost, which we can arrange for you.

The cost of delivery will be added to your order. You will be presented with the options available to you at checkout. *Free shipping only applies to regional centers. Shipping to outlying and remote areas may attract an additional fee.


All orders are dispatched via door to door courier within 2 working days from Johannesburg to any destination within South Africa.

Your goods will be delivered to you within 48 - 72 hours (2-3 business days) from date of dispatch.

Please ensure that someone is available to sign receipt of your order at your chosen address of delivery.

Delivery will take place on business days between the hours of 08h30 and 17h00, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. In the event of a Public Holiday or weekend, the goods shall be delivered on the following business day.

Alternatively you may collect your goods from our shop in Rosebank, Johannesburg, in which case delivery will be free of charge.
