About J'Something
When Joao da Fonseca, better known as J'Something, is not captivating audiences nationwide with his energetic performances, impeccable voice range, and smooth dance moves as leading frontman of award-winning house trio Mi Casa by night - by day, he's plugged into a world of entrepreneurship, mentorship and culinary creations.
His culinary skills, like his musical authority, have earned tremendous respect from leaders in the game and seen J go on to open a restaurant, become an ambassador for the high-end kitchen line Smeg and pen a triple platinum selling cookbook Somethings Cooking by J'Something'.
More recently, J has continued making his mark in the food space by co-hosting and is a celebrity judge on the prolific food show 'My Kitchen Rules South Africa' for two seasons, which is currently in production for the third season airing 19th September 2021.
