The Perfect picture is a seven part reality series where seven celebrities with a passion for photography compete against each other to show they have what it takes to step away from the spotlight and move behind the camera! Do they have the best eye for a great picture? The celebs must use their technical and creative skills to show they can take the perfect shot. Let yourself be inspired by the incredible pictures, each with their own stories... and challenges.

SHALA THE UNICORN
Shala The Unicorn is a fine artist who describes her art as flowing from her hands. Born and raised in Johannesburg, she received her first award for art at the age of eight and since then her career has gone from strength to strength.
She is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, director and conceptual thinker.
She regards people’s interest in working with her as stemming from the fact that she does not fit neatly into any predefined category. “I’ve been able to present myself randomly and random enough to make it look deliberate.” She explains her practice as an expression of honesty in which she adds unique elements that make her viewers look again.
DONALD MOATSHE
Afro Soul singer Donald Moatshe was born in the village of Kraalhoek, just outside Rustenburg. He began his career singing at a young age in the church choir and this is where he was discovered.
He came to the limelight in 2012 for his great hits such as I Deserve, Over the Moon, and Denial. His biography depicts the story of a focused and dedicated Afro-soul artist whose sound evolves to fit the contemporary world

MONEY BADOO
Money Badoo is a South African rapper, singer-songwriter, model, and fashion fanatic. She is well known for her sultry vocals and solid bars. Money Badoo is a creative maestro who’s take on hip-hop, R&B, and all rhythms in between shatters the world's myopic view of music from Africa.
Money Badoo displays her passion in each artwork she gets her hands on, being in music, fashion or creative direction- her dedication & determination paves a road to success.
LEBOHANG MSIZA
Lebohang Msiza is an actor who hails from Kwa-Thema where his passion for the arts began. Lebo has indulged in every aspect of the performing arts, including music, modelling and dancing until he finally found his passion in acting. Lebo has acted in numerous shows and is determined to become a leading man in the entertainment industry. Lebo has now discovered a new passion and that is photography!
MNQOBI YAZO
Mnqobi Yazo who real name is Mnqobi Ndunakazi is a South African musician, actor, scriptwriter, director and producer. He has been doing music for many years and has collaborated with top international artists such as Nipsey Hussie, Lil Wayne and Bryson Tiller.
The multi-talented Mnqobi recently acted in roles on Erased and The River. He studied acting, completing a three-year diploma in the performing arts where he focused on theatre at the Creative Arts College.
He is currently nominated for a SAMA for Best Afro Pop Album.
THICKLEEYONCE
She is a model, photographer, and body-positive influencer. Thickleeyonce, was added to the models for the popular international design house, Calvin Klein, she is the first South African plus-size model to obtain such an opportunity which makes this quite achievement. She also co-owns Lee bex with Rebecca Garande. Leebex was founded by Rebecca Garande and Lesego Legobane in 2016 and is dedicated to women who love their curves, as an iconic plus-size women’s fashion brand, standing for fashion forward, on-trend clothing at an affordable price.
TSHOLO MASEKO
Tsholo Maseko hails from Mpumalanga. She began her presenting career in 2011 by Winner the Presenter search and went onto present a variety of different programmes. Tsholo is a also a Soprano singer and is the “Singing” voice of Roxy the puppet in Takalani Sesame Street. Tsholo has also appeared in many of South Africa’s top television series including “Broken Vows,” and “Generations.” She is currently in preproduction for a role in a film.

Neo is the first female recipient of the CNN African Journalist Award for photography and the National Geographic All Roads Photography Award. Neo has served as a judge on numerous photographic competitions including The Standard Bank Sikuvile Journalism Awards. She is also a member of the National Adjudicating Committee for the SADC Media Awards.
SIPHIWE MHLAMBI
Siphiwe Mhlambi, is one of our top visual story tellers and was a Jazz World Photo finalist in 2021. Siphiwe has captured the history of South Africa through his lens. From the children dancing in the dusty townships of South Africa to kings, presidents, and statesmen of the world. From guns blazing during apartheid to the peaceful marches to democracy.

JEFFREY RIKHOTSO
Jeffrey Rikhotso is a Johannesburg based commercial and lifestyle photographer whose personal and commissioned work combine to make a varied creative body of work.
As a self-taught photographer, Jeffrey’s imaginative approach to stills craft is unboxed. This allows him to be experimental while creating engaging visuals.
MLUNGISI MLUNGWA
is Mlungisi Mlungwana who is one of a new breed of photographers changing the perceptions of South Africa. What defines Mlungisi as a photographer is his use of light. Mlungisi regards his lens as a third eye to capture emotions and events that he finds meaningful. He is best known for his work “StraatMate” in which he unearths the beautiful textures of Soweto.
KGOMOTSO NETO TLEANE
Kgomotso Neto Tleane is a Dynamic South African photographer with the mouldings of rural life and trimmings of fast paced city living. Born and raised in Ga-Maja, the Johannesburg based photographer creates imagery that effortlessly reflects both the grime and glory of the city he inhabits.
Neto’s work ensured his acceptance into the 2018 New York Portfolio Review. This platform gave him the opportunity to get feedback from global industry giants on his work. He in commercial photography and film production.
MANYATSA MONYAMANE
Manyatsa Monyamane is a visual storyteller, inspired and influenced by African literature, theatre, and everyday surroundings. Unpacking difficult themes, Monyamane’s photography often brings attention to stories overlooked by the mainstream media.
She was a finalist at Pop Cap 2016 and, in 2017, a Multi & New Media Merit Award Winner - all for the Thami Mnyele Fine Arts Awards. In 2018, she was announced as a finalist for the International Women Photographers Award, with a travelling exhibition in Dubai, New Delhi, Tokyo and Paris.
PRESENTER
SIYABONGA METANE (SLIKOUR)
Siyabonga is a top South African celebrity, with a large dedicated following on Instagram and on his website, SlikourOnLife. On SlikourOnLife his average number of hits 150,000 per month.
Siya is a polished professional presenter with years of experience and is well loved by the SABC 1 audience. He has the gravitas and much need experience to host a series like The Perfect Picture, especially the first season. He has presented popular shows such as Jam Alley.
He is well known for his participation in the acclaimed hip hop group Skwatta Kamp. The group produced three more albums winning numerous awards for their work, including two SAMA awards for the best rap album and a Channel O best hip hop music video award, until they went their separate ways in 2006.
In 2013 He immersed himself in the business of building his digital platform for news and videos from the music industry. Siya established SlikourOnLife, a platform for sharing information on urban culture and music, featuring videos and interviews to give substance to the music and to musicians who may not have access to traditional platforms, and offering a more cohesive and accessible place for their videos.
