The Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens is a G-mount ultra-wide lens for Fuji's Medium Format GFX cameras. The lens provides a wide 35mm equivalent focal length of 18mm, providing a 99.9° field-of-view, making the lens perfect for landscape, architecture, interior, and other wide-angle subjects.
The lens features spectacular optics, despite its wide focal length, thanks to a collection of special elements including two aspherical lenses, one super ED lens, three ED lenses and a Nano GI coating. This keeps the lens sharp all the way to the edges and provides high-resolution performance.
Wide 99.9° field-of-view
The Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens provides a wide 99.9 degree field of view on a GFX camera, this is thanks to both a 23mm focal length and the large medium format sensor's on GFX cameras.
Two aspherical lens elements
Two aspherical lens elements in the Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 lens greatly reduces spherical aberrations and distortions to provide clean images
Three ED and one Super ED lens elements
Three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements and one Super ED element provides exceptional sharpness and colour reprodution by effectively minimizing chromatic aberration
Nano GI coating
A Nano GI coating on the Fuji GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens reduces the occurrence of ghosting and flare from incident light entering the lens from diagonal angles due to the nature of the super wide-angle lens.
Linear autofocus motor for fast and near-silent operation
A linear focus motor provides near silent autofocus operation while keeping the front element static during AF, making use of gradient or polarising filters near effortless.
Weather / dust resistant, and -10°C low-temperature operation
The Fujinon GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens features 9 seals to prevent dust and moisture from creeping into the lens, enabling users to shoot outdoors in wet, cold or dusty conditions.
Aperture ring with command dial mode
A nifty feature on the Fujinon GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens is a physical aperture ring that includes a command dial mode. This give the user the ability to control the aperture through either the conventional way of moving the aperture, or just moving the ring to command mode for aperture control on the camera body. The command position is lockable to prevent incorrect operation.
Medium format lens for Fujifilm GFX cameras
The Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 R LM WR lens is part of Fuji's range of G-mount lenses for their medium format mirroless cameras, such as the GFX 50S.
