The Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 is a lightweight and compact teleconverter lens that could be used with Minolta and Sony cameras lenses that have fixed focal lengths of 100 mm or more. It fits both prime lenses and telephoto zoom lenses. As the 3x Kenko lens lacks autofocus ability, it is operated with manual focus and if used with autofocusing cameras, it can only operate in the manual mode. The magnification of the teleconverter lens is 3x being suitable for taking photos of rather distant objects. The multi-coated glass ensures high quality whereas a three-stop light is also included in the converter. As far as the construction of the Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 is concerned, it consists of 7 elements that belong to 4 groups. As a further improvement, the Kenko lens makes use of the gate array integrated circuitry technology, which means that the signal integrity between the camera lens and body is maintained at all, times.
